Downtime Nightmares

Recent downtime, of this server, has been extremely frustrating. Whats even more frustrating is that there is no apparent root cause. Each time the server went down, I simply rebooted and it would work again. There doesn’t seem to be a software problem, so I was jiggling the ethernet cables a bit, and stability seemed to increase.

Overall, for webmaster on the internet dealing with server downtime issues, sometimes the simplest solution is the best. Just jiggle your ethernet cables every once in a while
