You can create an SSH server, and utilize the “X11Forwarding yes” option to forward the X display of any Linux Video Game to a remote display. In Ubuntu, and most all Debian distribution, you can install SSH with:
sudo apt-get install ssh
Otherwise you can get it from OpenSSH.com
Once you have open SSH install open the configuration file:
sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_config or sudo gedit /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Nano is a terminal based text editing program, whereas gedit it a gnome X window based graphical editing program. Actually with X11Forwarding enabled you can graphically edit text files on a host machine via an SSH remove interface.
Now you can install Free Linux Video Games. http://happypenguin.org/ provides many free games, and there are countless free games in the Linux repositories. Ubuntu has a great Lemings clone in its repositories called Pingus, which can be installed with:
sudo apt-get install pingus
