XBOX 360 Fatal Design Flaws
XBOX 360 has a variety of fatal design flaws that result in the system becoming completely inoperable. The first option that should be pursued is to contact XBOX 360 directly at 1800-4my-xbox. XBOX 360 will only service broken systems if you have not removed the factory seals underneath the cover. They explicitly say they will only service broken systems if the XBOX has “not” been “tampered” with. Frankly this is bullshit; they should fix the XBOX for a price $$, but they won’t touch it at all. In fact they told me that I have to go on google and search for XBOX FORUMS to see what other people are doing. That is some incredible shit that a massive corporate entity would tell its customers that they will not service the system, and that the only way they can fix the system is to go online and ask other people what to do; LOL, when I heard this shit I was flabbergasted.

well i ve just experienced the 3 red lights (the dreaded red ring of death) however I never tampered with my console or broke the sticker things so they say im covered under 3 year warranty plan for 3 red lights. You should try callin them up again because technically they have to repair it if you are paying them to. they re only not meant to repair it if its been chipped or modded or something along those lines. And the fact they told you to seek support from forums is absolutely outrageous. DONT TAKE IT.

I definitely didn’t take it. I not only fixed my own XBOX 360, but I posted reasonably precise instructions on how to fix the system on your own. Although I do recommend if you have a valid warranty, and 2 months worth of patients, go through Microsoft to get your system fixed.

I got my 360 and I had it for 1 year. The 360 disk drive leaves scratches on your disks. These scratches look like circles. If this happened to you about 2 million of the 360’s have this flaw so just get a refund or sue Microsoft.

Why bother sending it to Microsoft, just open that bad boy up yourself and repair the flimsy DVD drive
